THE ALMOST PERFECT

!! Holiday Present !!

(...depending on the recipient...)

I WANT TO BE A PROSTITUTE by ALISA reached
#7 on Rodney Bingenheimer's "Rodney On The
ROQ" playlist in 1982...

Alisa also appears on "Radio Tokyo Tapes"
compilation albums volumes 1, 3, 4, 5 alongside of
The Minutemen, X as-The knitters, and The
Bangles.

Alisa can also be heard on Harvey
Kubernick’s spoken word album "English As A
Second Language" with Black Flag’s Henry Rollins,
Excene Cervenka, Charles Bukowski and others.

Ever the provocateur, she sings about the horror of
traffic tickets, teenagers who turn into beauty school
hopefuls, the ambition of becoming a prostitute and
the notion of trading in your mate for a Barbie doll.

The Band Alisa and The Dude Ranch included
Guitarist Jeff Ross, of the San Diego band Rank
And File. Also Alisa can be heard singing back up
vocal on The Dickie’s song "Magoomba" from the
1988 release of, "Killer Clowns From Outerspace".

NOTEWORTHY:
ON TRACK "B-2" the drummer is Debbi Peterson,
founding member of The Bangles.

COVER SLEEVE: About as Near-Mint as
possible, clean/sharp, looks/feels brand new.

DISC:
Side One (Title Song) is perfect, again
as Near-Mint as you can ask for.

Side Two has three weird wavy-lines...possibly a
micro-Alien Crop-Circle that isn't a circle but a
wave (and SO light that they couldn't be
photographed...but they are there... whatever
they are...
DARN ALIENS!!
...however this won't affect record-play, nor
pride-of-ownership of
this VERY FUNNY and VERY rare 1982 Seasonal
Song (well...for SOME it's seasonal...one
supposes...)

ALSO: The various "promotional photos"
included on this Ebay Auction listing are
