ALISON KRAUSS I've Got That Old Feeling 1990 ROUNDER NM/EXC 1st issue

Description

On offer is the 1990 LP by ALISON KRAUSS called I'VE GOT THAT OLD FEELING on ROUNDER, catalogue number 0275.

Not her debut - the former child prodigy already had three albums under her tiny belt - but this was the first to demonstrate the patented Krauss blend of traditional bluegrass and pop sensibility that would carry all before it, culminating in the world-beating Raising Sand collaboration with Robert Plant. An auspicious beginning, I've Got That Old Feeling scored the Grammy for Best Bluegrass Recording in 1990.

This vinyl is PRISTINE, with still shiny grooves, no scratches, no scuffmarks, no pops, no sticking and no background noise. The labels are clean, with no writing, and no spindle marks. The catalogue number is stamped onto the dead wax of the run-out groove together with a signature, which if I've deciphered correctly, says "Jerry Bergman", presumably the work-proud guy at the pressing plant. This denotes a first issue. The sleeve is in excellent condition, marred only by a dink in the top right hand corner, where at some point it must have taken a fall. Sorry about that.

"Obscure folk in mint condition !! What's not to like !!!" - stormcrowfolk, from the 100% Feedback Profile.

To be shipped in the STRONGEST 625 MICRON BEST 12” BROWN BOARD MAILER COMPLETE WITH 2 STIFFENERS and plastic sleeve.
