Description

 

  This rare artifact is known as Lou Reed`s and Jonh Cale`s first ever colaboration in 1965 before becoming the legendary Velvet Underground.

`Why Don`t You Smile Now` is a powerfull atmospheric ballad with a strong soulful garage feel to it,a great song all in all.This has been covered by The Downliners Sect later on in the sixties,aswell as more recently Spiritualised,The Headcoats and the Bartlebees.The original song itself appears on the garage compilation `Mayhem and Psychosis Volume 1`

 the flipside;"Don`t Put Your Eggs In One Basket" is a great,up-beat soul mover with a live feel to it.

  The Vinyl is in excellent condition, with the very slight wear being from storage rather than being played(the centre hole is very clean cut).Both sides have been played and there is no groove distortion on this record.The grooves are very clean and loud. 

 this is a scarce record and is not offered in this condition too often.
