VINYL: M-/NM++ (Vinyl looks shiny and amazing! Music plays strong throughout with no real distracting noise, loud pops or clicks. Great copy of this amazingly rare and wonderful record. Only one very minor and barely visible scuff/line, does not effect play at all. Labels look like new with no noteable spindle wear at all, tight spindle holes. See pics below)
COVER: EX/VG++ (Cover looks quite nice overall. No bends or tears. Very little ringwear, barely visible upon close inspection. Two fairly minor splits on the top and bottom seams, nothing all too visually distracting. See pics below)
INSERT: M- (The amazingly rare and most often missing insert is in wonderful condition; no bends, stains or tears at all. Looks brand new! It is chock full of information on this ultra weird and wonderful record, complete with lyrics and recording info on the reverse side. See pics below)

This auction is for the Xian hippie cult classic LP "For Christians, Elves and Lovers" by The All Saved Freak Band.  An amazing psych folk gem truly deserving of it's holy grail status. Full of eerie vocals both female and male, ultra groovy fuzz and folky acoustic guitars, echoed out violin and cello and pretty much everything else you can think of including some really creepy piano at the very end. This record is a bit of a concept album involving an amazingly strange mix of both The Hobbit/Lord of The Rings Elfin and Christian subject matter...the result is one completely way-out spooky psych folk album, unlike pretty much anything else ever recorded before or since. The group were supposedly all members of a xian hippie commune, investigated for subserviant acts and other cult-type shananagans. The band includes Glenn Schwartz formerly of the James Gang and Pacific Gas and Electric Co.; also mentioned in the involvement on the album are singer Tom Miller and bassist Randy Markko who "were killed on a journey to spread the Gospel at a rock festival". Overall a really haunting psych folk LP, quite highly collectible and increasingly rare. Past copies of this album in VG/VG- condition have sold for well over 100 dollars. I am starting the auction for this one with the amazingly rare insert/lyric sheet included at a very reasonable 47 dollars with no reserve.
