Taken from The Man Who Sold The World, "All the Madmen" was released by Mercury records in a edited form as a white label promo with the same song on both sides in the U.S. in 1970, this was prior to David Bowie's promotional tour which was planned for early in 71, with an official release planned, with "Janine" from the previous album "Man Of Words Man Of Music" A.K.A,"Space Oddity" used as the B-side. then it has been said to have been shelved ! Anyway only a handful of these Mercury stock copies no. 73173# have ever turned up. As rare go's this is Mega mega rare!!!
