ALLISON'S SACRED HARP SINGERS                

JT Allison's Sacred Harp Singers. Gennett 6255-I'm A Long Time Traveling Away From Home/I Belong To This Band-Hallelujah!. Rare, haunting and in beautiful condition. Hard to imagine a better copy of this outstanding disc! Recording in 1927 during one of Gennet's few sessions in Birmingham, Al. Unlike the other Allison recordings, this one features an unknown female voice along with the male vocal group.
