Original UK stereo LP, release date 1970 on the ATCO Capricorn series label, catalogue number: 2400032 Matrix nos: side1) 2400032A 1122 side 2) 2400032B 1122 Condition of cover/record: NEAR MINT / EX (Grading as used by Record Collector) The cover is matt textured finish, made by MacNeill Press, London. Both front and rear cover surfaces are virtually MINT – there is just a very thin wear line on the front top right which is approx ½–inch long and is in ‘dashes’ not a solid wear line. There is no splaying of the open edge, no rings, no creases, no writing, stickers, etc. The top and bottom edges have some wear – approx ½ of the bottom edge and approx ¾ of the top edge is affected with dots and dashes of wear. Overall the cover is in NEAR MINT condition. The spine has very thin wear marks at each end each approx ½ inch long. This does not affect the print which is perfect. The inner sleeve is white polythene-lined. The two labels have some light spindle marks: approx 6 or 7 on side 1; approx 8 or 9 on side 2. The record plays: side 1) PERFECTLY with no clicks pops or crackles at all; side 2) there are 2 clicks at the very end of ‘please call home’ – these are in the last 3 seconds of the track, and a third click comes in the run-off or interval between tracks, just before the start of ‘leave my blues at home’. The rest of this side plays PERFECTLY , but I have downgraded the record from MINT to EX because of this. This record was cleaned and played before the auction to ensure accuracy of description. This item has no reserve on it, & is from my personal collection.
