Released in 1990 this double album of THE ALLMAN BROTHERS, on SPLATTER Coloured vinyl (see photo), is a King Biscuit Flower Hour radio program. It contains brilliant live recordings of the Allmans from 1982, 1986 and 1987, plus a recording of Dickey Betts and Great Southern from 1977. Full track listing is : Side One from Austin Texas 1987. Track 1.Trouble no more 2.Hot lanta 3.I'm no angel 4.Whipping post. Side Two from Syracuse NY 1977 (Dickey Betts) Track 1.Run gypsy run 2.In memory of Elizabeth Reed 3.There ain't nothing you can do. Side Three from Passaic NY 1982. Track 1.One way out 2.Southbound 3.Ramblin' man 4.Midnight rider 5.Blue sky. Side Four from New York 1986. Track 1.Statesboro blues 2.Jessica 3.Good lovin' (with Felix Cavaliere). This set was limited to 250 copies so is extremely rare. The condition of the cover and both records is excellent. The recording quality and performances are both first rate. A fantastic album for all ALLMAN BROTHERS fans.
