Highly-collectible original Music Library by the drum player and percussionist GIOVANNI CRISTIANI, released as 1st volume of Gemini Music Library series, Franco De Gemini's own Library series production on his label Pentaflowers. Trippy acoustic drums and percussions album recorded in 1985 and totally instrumental, recently became a cult among DJs and producers for the countless number of samples and beats and for the famed DANNY BROWN's sample from the track "Fragments Of Crystal". Groovy Ambient suites and inspired atmospheres with loads of every kind of percussions like tom-tom, tenore and snare drums, bells, cymbals, Marimba, timpani, vibes, blocks, bongos, xylophones and so on. Alpha Percussion is the work of a sole man and a gem of freeform percussive workouts. Under the auspieces of Pentaflowers who asked to maestro Cristiani to record an album of sole percussions, the result comes as a purse artistic statement with bang-able metals and drum kits, ranging from Eastern-inspired geometers at the ambient end of the scale, to woozily atmospheric and groovier themes. Dope Italian Library record and top stuff for crate diggers / dusty fingers / producers, DJs and vintage sounds specialists.

Danny Brown's sample is the opener "FRAGMENTS OF CRYSTAL", sampled by Danny Brown for his album Atrocity Exhibition in 2016 on the track "Really Doe". This was also sampled by Hip Hop singer RetcH in 2015. Great, atmospheric and tense theme with a groovy background on evil bells vibes. Top-notch sampler. Follows the spacey dance groove "DANCING FOR DILETTA" with trippy spatial vibes, the insane "VIOLANCE-LOVE" with loads of exotic and tribal percussions and laid-back intermezzo themes. "A NET FULL OF SAND" is a mysterious / esoteric inspired theme with further spacey and trippy vibes. More darker Ambient acoustic suites on "CIRCLES IN THE WATER", "FEAR IN THE DARK" and "EYES' LIGHT".
