Alton Memele – Funky Africa (Atlantic ATC 9583, Original 1975).
Incredible Afro-Funk rarity here, recorded in Johannesburg, mostly instrumental funk tunes with wah-wah´s, flutes and great drum work! Memela played with Miriam Makeba, and there´s great guitars all over this album. Highly recommended. And very cool artwork too. Have never seen this album before and there´s hardly any info anywhere about this, not on google, popsike or anywhere. Must have been an extremely limited edition printed back in the seventies. Ultra rare.
Can´t find anywhere on the cover or labels which country it was pressed in but i guess South Africa since it was recorded there.

Gradings:
M-(MINT minus): This is our highest grade which we will use when it appears ABSOLUTELY AS NEW.
NM(Near Mint): Record has only the faintest, almost indetectible signs of handling/use, however NOTHING worth noting as it overall displays the deep, gleaming gloss that nothing but a virtually NEW and unhandled record possesses.
EX(Excellent): Still only light, general surface such as very light hairlines/bagrash wear evenly displayed all over, nothing that stands out or in anyway is disturbing. Indeed very close to perfect but is beginning to show signs of use, however MINIMAL. At the most only a couple, visually noticeable but indeed very light surface streaks but nothing that can be felt or in anyway affects playing. Of course still NO marks, scratches and so on - such will be mentioned separately(if/when they occur)as they deviate from this general grading criteria. No disturbing noise, great sound quality
Very Good Plus (VG+): A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don t significantly affect play. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
Very Good (VG): Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.
+/- illustrates the lower or upper area of the actual grade.
