Description

ALVA : Ja Tik Butu.

Seen on many wants lists this one..................

UK pressed vinyl album. From 1978 on Pennine Records PSS 151 (Also released the album Rosemary Lane by Tickawinda).

To all intents & purpose a private pressing.

Very strange - a Latvian group based in the UK - seen this described as garage rock but IMO it's more like mellow prog with female vocals on the one track I listened to on the net (MP3s are out there for your listening pleasure).

Grading: I try to grade conservatively and I don't grade anything as mint unless it's sealed. All faults will be described.

Cover: VG.  Please see pictures. Some mild ringwear & rubbing to the front - most noticeably where a sticker once was. The back is not as white as it probably was. 2mm seam split top opening edge. The cover is flat but was not originally folded square.

Record: VG + . Looks un-played. I can see no definite evidence of spindle marks - possibly one on the side one label. However in strong sunlight there are marks in the pressing & some hairlines - perhaps to be expected given the nature of the pressing. A couple of scuffs on side one over the lead in grooves. Would benefit from a clean but I'll leave that for the new owner.

A rare album when all said & done.

Will be well packaged in cardboard mailer with stiffeners - package weight approx. 484g. Postage will be at cost. It will only be posted signed for.
