Here we have a very rare Rock'n'Roll gem,the USA 12'' vinyl album from (Alvin) 'Red' Tyler and the Gyros entitled 'Rockin' And Rollin'.It was issued in 1960 on the highly collectable American Ace record label and the catalogue no. is LP-1006.

There are 12 tracks and these are :-

Side One   Junk Village   Tonking   Classy Lassie   Lonely For You   Double Whammy   Snake Eyes

Side Two   Happy Sax   Dippy   Drag Race   Long Ride   Peanut Vendor   Walk On

The record itself is in excellent condition and plays well.It appears to have been played very little and there are no jumps or skips.

The outer cover has been assessed as being in VG+ condition as there is some wear in one corner and it is slightly grubby in a few places.However,apart from this there are no major marks or blemishes,no rips or tears and no handwriting on the cover.

This is thought to be an original LP from 1960 and not a later re-issue because the run-out area contains the 'Sheldon Plant' manufacturing mark which is widely regarded as a sign of authenticity.In addition the cover is of the thick card variety which was in common use in 1960 but not in the 1970s when Ace label re-issues were being produced.

Insurance is included in the postage cost for items of value up to £55 ( UK only ).Items valued at more than £55 can still be fully insured but this would be subject to an increase in the postal cost,currently an additional £4.15 for cover up to £500.
