Description

AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE. I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS. PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR TONS MORE STUFF, WITH MORE BEING ADDED AS TIME PERMITS. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ This is a nice copy of the A&M 1/2 speed LP by The Police titled "Outlandos d'Amour" (A&M SPJ-4753). ------- It is a hard album to find. ------- The record is in very nice condition with no needle scratches, just a couple of faint streaks where it looks like fingers touched the vinyl. There are no spindle marks on the labels. When you first set the needle down on the record there are a couple of thumps from some imperfection in the vinyl, but they go away as soon as the music starts. There is a spot at the bottom left where some of the plastic coating has come off of the jacket, but there are no splits. The original outer bag with the flap type seal is included. The bag has two stickers on it. One says that is an import, and the other one says that it was pressed in Japan. --------- It was issued in Canada, but the record was pressed in Japan, just like the MFSL series. The A&M half speed records didn't get the attention that the Mobile Fidelity albums did, but they were of comparable quality, and very under appreciated. The album in the photo is the actual album for sale. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ Please see my other auctions for more great audiophile including MFSL, Nautilus and direct discs. Thanks
