UP FOR BID: AMERICAN TOP 40 -- AIRDATE OF JANUARY 2, 1988 SPECIAL 8-HOUR YEAR-END COUNTDOWN OF TOP 100 HITS OF 1987
Sleeves contain all 8 LPs for the special, year-end American Top 40 countdown of January 2, 1988, counting down the Top 100 singles of 1987. The Number One song for the year was "Walk Like an Egyptian" by the Bangles. Other acts in the survey include U2, Whitney Houston, Genesis, Lionel Richie, Madonna, and many others.
THIS PROGRAM ALSO INCLUDES ALL NETWORK COMMERCIALS.
Sleeves show some minor creasing on both sets, as seen in photos, and some tape/minor water stains on the back of one sleeve. The records all still appear to be in excellent condition. The sleeve for the first set also has a small tear on the outer trim (where an album's title would normally be), as seen in the last photo
Official countdown insert is included with the LPs. The top page is unattached and shows some wear, but the remaining papers are all in better shape.
