"Phallus Dei", legendary Psychedelic MASTERPIECE by Amon Düül II and released in 1969 on the german Liberty label. Here we have the very rare absolutely GER ORIGINAL FIRSTPRESSING with "Deep-Groove" Labels, LIBERTY RECORDS GMBH Text on Labels (later pressings with Liberty/UA and even later just United Artists) edge, catnumber LBS 83 279 I, a halflaminated cover and the INSERT. The record is cleaned with V.P.I. cleaning machine and completely audio checked: The shiny vinyl wasn`t played often, NO spindlemarks, but nevertheless it has a lots of fine surface hairlines (NO deep scratches!), I have no idea how this could happend. Vinyl looks very good in general, but plays much better for the most: S.1 crackles a bit more than S.2, but NO loud clicks or even skips, the whole record plays fine very good+(vg+) throuhout, a good pressing&recording. The cover shows light cornerwear and the begin of slight seamsplit at one seam, otherwise it`s in clean very good+(vg+)shape. The INSERT has a light crinkeling corner bottom left hand, otherwise in clean very good+(vg+)too.This is definitely the best album by Amon Düül II, so powerful, so psychy&strong..............one of the Top 10 BEST PSYCH Lp´s from Germany at all........................
