"These Kalevala bashers started life as a death metal band borne of the ashes of Violent Solution, Abhorrence and Nuxvomica. After having consumed two or three prog rock albums too many the band found themselves dropping their death metal influences and in need of a versatile vocalist (Kyyria's Ville Tuomi handled the clear vocals on the successful "Tales from the Thousand Lakes" opus). Before they recruited Pasi Koskinen (original St. Mucus vocalist/guitarist) they gave some geezer a go at Ankkarock festival - he was more of the Oulunkylä jazz/pop music academy variety and (un)fortunately the audience decided against him."
