Description
This is vinyl pressing of David Bowies 'An Evening with David Bowie'.
Let me be clear - This version was privately pressed , limited to about 500 copies and sold via fanzines only (mail order in the late 1970s)
as the original is so rare the demand for this came about
I know this as I had all the fanzines as part of this(massive) Bowie collection and this was advertised in one along with many items also bought by the same fanatic
I had toyed with the idea of keeping this one as it is very nice....but.. here it is ..
The original is a promo only RCA - this is a very decent substitute also marked as a 'promo not for sale'
The way to tell is the black border is present on the bottom on the RCA promo - not on this version
Questions?, issues? - please ask, Ive seen this turn up on Popsike etc with no mention of what it is...I want to be clear - google is also useful
Anyway - Record is Nr Mint - a splendid example, the owner typically played once and taped
Inner sleeve is plain white
Sleeve is EX+ due to the odd hairline
