Description
Classic doom masterpiece from from UK pioneers ANATHEMA titled ‘Serenades’ released via Peaceville in 1993 cat no. VILE 34.
With a funeral atmosphere, and sparse production, this is tortured UK Doom at its most melancholic and soul searching. A genuine morose atmosphere pervades the album throughout, with a bleak snails pace adopted on most of the tracks. The exception is the classic ‘Sleepless’. A essential LP for the doom devotee.
The sleeve is generally in great condition, however there is a very small split to the top spine, and minor creasing to bottom left corner. The inner sleeve has a noticeable stain on the lyric side top left. It doesn't obscure any lyrics but should be noted. Vinyl itself appears fine with no major blemishes or defects.
