Description
This record doesn't turn up. It is one of the most collectable UK psych LP's ever released. It's 'Love and Poetry' by Andwellas Dream. This band were originally called Method from Northern Ireland and they changed their name to Andwellas Dream when they moved to London in 1968. The band were led by Dave Lewis who wrote all the songs. It is a psychedelic classic. It's a stereo recording. there's a gold and black 'stereo' sticker on the top right hand rear of the sleeve. It's on the UK CBS label and the catalogue no. is CBS S 63673. It was released in 1969.
OUTER COVER - The cover is laminated on the front and back. It's in fine condition and shows some minor ring wear on both sides. There is also some minor discolouration on both sides. There are some minor tears on the bottom left hand front corner but these don't dtract from the overall condition of the sleeve. I've graded the sleeve Ex-.
INNER SLEEVE - This is a typical 1960's/70's plain white sleeve with a clear polythene inner liner. It states on one side of the sleeve 'PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS... ETC - British Patent No. 800513 & 973939 - MADE IN ENGLAND 4913 000 15801 311'.
RECORD - This is in fine condition with some minor marks and superficial surface scuffs on both sides. The record plays through on both sides with very minor pops and clicks and without jumps.
RECORD LABELS - These are in superb condition with minor spindle marks on both sides. There is some surface noise on both sides of the record but the tracks play through without any jumps. There are some minor pops and clicks. There is some minor black ballpen writing on the label of side two. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - SBPG 63673-A1 - side two - SBPG 63673-B1. I've graded the record as Ex-.
To be fair, you just won't find this record again, especially in this condition. I try to grade everything as conservatively as possible and I am sure that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed.
