ANDY ROBERTS ..HOME GROWN 1st Pressing UK ORANGE RCA VICTOR SF 8086 1970

This is a copy of the First record by Andy Roberts from 1970 before he then Recorded the Following Four others as you may know this record was Redone again in 1970 odd with by B&C with a totally Different and Rubbish Cover.

This record never sold anything back in the 1970's and never turns up for sale in this Condition its not quite as rare as the Keith Christmas Record from the same year but like so many others on RCA from 1970 they are some of hardest records to get now.

I got this as part of a Reviewer that was selling his collection and was one of the many he hardly touched once he done the review for the Music Press.

I shall list a little about it for your Help but I suspect this copy hardly every came out of the sleeve as its looks new the sleeve still has the Shrink Warping attached hence why I am asking the money.

If you need help with anything please there was help from Friends of Mighty Baby as him and Keith Christmas where all helped with there first records by the band.

Cover
Well as you can see its still got its Shrink Warping on but open of course hence Used, The cover is Laminated to the Front like most on RCA from 1970, there is some small areas of wear most noted along the edge and Corners where the Shrink has Worn and spit a little. The back shows a hint of Ring wear most shown from the rear as its not Laminated on the back most of the wear is the edge that contacted with the Edges hence the opening edge here you can see a little light Rubbing, The Spine edge is Clear and all the text down the edge you can see a few small creases just viewable under the Shrink. Record/Vinyl

Disc looks almost untouched there is hardly a mark to view both sides looking clean and Glossy if I check with a strong light it may be possible to just make out one tiny paper trace but that is all very nice copy with no scratches or other such damage. M-

Labels

Both Labels are clean showing hardly a mark either side hence the almost mint State of the package there is no pen marks other marking it hard to see it was every played.

Playback

This record Well both sides with a hint of Crackle at the run in to the tracks and when the music is very low but playing very nice without Jumps Skips etc. If you need to ask please do but about as nice as you can find.

(M) Rarely used unless Item is still un-open new. Mainly for new or Re-issue Records

(M-) OR NEAR MINT (A Fantastic Collector Copy)
Very Clean Item with little signs of use, looking almost as new both sides clean with No Scratches
or Surface marks there might be odd Paper marks. Should any copy fail to meet this grade I Prefer to list
down a grade but I always provide sufficient information.

(Ex) (Collector Copy)
The Record has clearly been Played shows some signs of enjoyment, Strong Copy Retaining Full Crisp sound.
Might be odd surface Line or Few Very Minor hairline marks or a few Scuffs. Playback would Still Be Ace with
no Playback Issues.

(EX-) OR (VG+) (Good Keeper Copy)
This Grade means that the copy may have slightly more signs of use but would always have Good Crisp sound.
It might have extra paper marks or Few Hairlines or even an odd Scratch this would not be Audible unless said
and how the Scratches affects the Record would clearly be listed.

(VG) (KEEPER COPY)
The Item has clearly been played many times but Despite Visual Marks Like Hair lines or Scratches and Some
Surface marks. The Sound Still Retains Good playback, if there is a scratch that Sounds I clearly indicate
where it occurs and how it affects the track playing time.

When I use a Grade less than VG it would normally be due to a record being very rare or a sleeve that I feel
does not fit with VG due to Repairs or damage mostly records under VG are Only Fit for the Bin. But if you
are unsure just ask.
