HELLO, AND THANKS FOR VIEWING THIS AUCTION! Today, we have for your consideration with NO RESERVE, this 1975 ULTRA RARE PRIVATE PRESS 33 1/3 rpm record by The Police band member Andy Summers (Sommers) titled, "Blap! Records Presents A Letter Home", subtitled "Have A Good Old Fashioned Christmas" on the Blap! Records Records label, #LRS-RT-6152. Andy Summers has 4 tracks on this LP, and in the mid 1970s, to keep from spelling his last name repeatedly, he changed from "Sommers" to "Summers". THIS LP WAS PRESSED IN VERY LIMITED COPIES, AND SINCE THE LP IS SEALED I COULDN'T DETERMINE WHAT GENRE OF MUSIC TO CATEGORIZE. THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR THE POLICE AVID/SERIOUS COLLECTOR.

(Cover remains SEALED in the original shrinkwrap with breaks, some grimy areas, areas of missing shrink on the bottom top and left sides and a few minor bows; top seam is solid, spine seam is solid with paper flaking, and missing paper in a few small spots, bottom seam has an approx. 1.50" split in the middle, a small split on the bottom left corner and normal bumped corners, overall grades VG.)

VG : Used record and may retain gloss, surface scratches and scuffs are noticeable, minor to moderate wear on label, plays ok unless otherwise noted.

VG-: Well played with abundant scratches and scuffs, label may have tears and other wear, plays with background noise, pops, etc.

G : Mishandled and abused, label damage, may have severe scratches and scuffs, a good wall hanger.
