Description

Angel "Bad Publicity / Sinful" Casablanca NBLP-7127 DJ (Promotion Copy Not For Sale on label, label also says "SINFUL"), however this early pressing was paired with the mega-uber-rare withdrawn sexy 1st cover titled "Bad Publicity".  Most experts say certainly less than 50 jackets of the controversial 1st cover made it into circulation, as Neil Bogart (CEO of Casablanca) ordered the 1st batch to be destroyed, and this has been verified.  The reason for the withdrawal is that on the front cover, in the background leaning over the railing with the striped mini-skirt, a young lady appears to not be wearing underwear.  Mr. Bogart didn't want to ruin Angel's image and took action.  The jacket was made with pull-out stand-up tabs, and is VG++ with no splits or major issues, the record is a nice VG++/Excellent, also, comes with original Casablanca inner sleeve.  If you research this LP it is mega-mega-rare, and historically has gone for relatively large sums of money.  Priced to go.  U.S. buyer to pay $4.00 media shipping (or priority upon request).  International buyer to inquire for shipping costs.  Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer.
