BAHIA / CIAO DEVO ANDARE ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST TV single by ANNA MARIA BARATTA with I ROKKETTI. Original Italian pressing on the RARE label (RAR NP 77538), from 1970. Obscure and killer underground rock cum Tropicalia psych version of BAHIA (the famous Ary Barroso penned theme). Intense lead vocals by the cult Italian singer over progressive funky music. Lots of raw and primitive rhythm hooks featuring acidic guitars / fuzz distortions / psychedelic hammond and afro latin percussion. The backing group is rumoured to be I Rokketti but they sound closer to the best Gianfranco Reverberi and Underground Set. Great for DJs. The CIAO, DEVO ANDARE side is a pop lounge orientated soundtrack theme from the RAI televison programme, Senza Rete. Rare OST 45!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some light hairlines from sleeve removal. The picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with some light corner and edge wear in places. Light ring creasing from storage. Rare OST 45!!!
