Description
Anne Briggs: same 1971, UK/Topic 12T 207. Disc is in beautiful M- shape, if it wasn't for a spindle mark on one label I'd guess it was unplayed! Cover has no creases but there are some air pockets under the lamination on the front, the unlaminated back side has just a bit of wear along the pocket opening, this is EX and likely can't be upgraded. Ultra-rare first LP by Briggs on which she sings everything and plays all the instruments except for John Moynihan's bouzouki on one track. Very plaintive and charming; her schoolgirlish voice has been known to melt men... be forewarned. One of the best and most sought-after female British folk LPs for obvious reasons, 'nuff said. TOP COPY!
