RUTH ANDERSON : Dump/SUM [State Of The Union Message] / ANNEA LOCKWOOD : Tiger Balm LP (Opus One [USA] 70) 197?

Record is excellent with minimal light sleeve marks only. It looks like it hasn't been played much but it is a little noisy at times, particularly on the Lockwood side. Nothing overwhelming but the music is pretty quiet so it's more noticeable than it otherwise would be.

Cover is VG+ with light overall wear.

Original copy of this scarce electronic/tape/musique concrete LP with two compositions by Ruth Anderson and one by Annea Lockwood. The Anderson compositions are Dump, a collage of sounds from folk/pop songs along with electronically generated "dump sounds", and SUM [State Of The Union Message], a collage/cut-up of TV commercials. The Lockwood composition, Tiger Balm is made up of taped sounds of a cat purring, a heartbeat, gongs, jews harps, a tiger, a woman, and a plane.
