Description
Anonymous: same 1981, USA/A Major Label 1002. Disc is M-, cover is M- in shrink wrap, this is like new! First repressing of their 1976 "Inside The Shadow" album with the B&W cover design, this also has a copy of the lyric insert included only in the 1976 press. For me, Anonymous and Relatively Clean Rivers are in a perpetual battle for supremacy in the USA 1970s private press sweepstakes, and I don't think either one will ever pull ahead. Absolutely killer progressive rural rock band from Indianapolis have a sound that owes as much to early 70s Italian progressive rock as it does to 1960s Byrds! Female and male vocals blend a la Jefferson Airplane, jangling 12 string Rickenbacker guitar that isn't afraid to get heavy and totally insane drumming... no way to better this band for what they played! "J. Rider", "Baby Come Risin'", "Up To You", etc. TOP COPY!
