Program Condition: VG+

Booklet Condition: VG+; small tear at front top left; a couple small red stais at left

Cover Condition: VG+; light corner wear and scuffing at bottom base 

Record Condition: VG+; both discs very glossy but with a few light non-feelable scuffs

MY GRADING SYSTEM:

• M- Mint Minus or Near Mint: a record or cover that is practically unused and bears little to no signs of wear.
• EX Excellent: Just short of mint, with only the smallest sleeve marks or incidental marks.
• VG+ Very Good Plus: records in this grade are very well taken care of and only show the slightest hairline marks. Should still play near perfect if it is a good pressing. Covers will only bear slight wear.
• VG Very Good: This is the condition that most old and used (but not abused) records are found in. The record should have a moderately-worn looking surface but no deep scratches. It will still be an enjoyable listen. Covers will bear more advanced seam splitting, corner dings, or writing.
• VG- Very Good Minus: This is a record which still has a little life in it, but is likely to be very marked up and may bear deeper scratches, scuffs, etc. Cover may have long seam splits, writing, and water damage.
• G Good: This is a record that is very heavily worn but may or may not still play OK. Used and abused. I will only list very rare items in this condition. I will occasionally add a + (plus) to this grade to indicate that it plays better than it looks.

ATTENTION: I have started checking these classical originals a little closer as of this week. I am visually grading them in outdoor afternoon light for an extra bright visual inspection. I am also play testing them, by playing passages throughout the record for sound quality evaluation. Outdoor Light Visual Grade: Both discs grade a strong glossy VG to low VG+. A smattering of light superficial scuffs and sleeve marks. Nothing major, but not a pristine copy. Looks very glossy and free of marks under low light, which is deceptive. Play Grade: Ranges from a nice strong VG at its worst moments (mostly at the start of each side) to a nice VG+ throughout a lot of the record. Wonderful sound, and plays a bit stronger than the visual grade for sure. Could play even better after a nice VPI cleaning, which I will do before mailing the box out.
