This record is the real deal. Original blue note pressing, mono. The record looks pristine to me but I have to let the pictures speak for themselves. Most other copies of this record are over seas and more expensive. I can only go by looks when describing the condition of this record as I don't have any way of playing this record. I recognize the purchase of this record is a big investment and want you to be comfortable with what you are buying so if there is something I can answer for you to help verify any details in my listing, I want to do that for you.
I've posted lots of pictures so anyone bidding on this record can see for themselves and judge the condition of the sleeve and record. Further, I have posted many pictures of the record itself so you can verify the information gathered below from Discogs that note the particular characteristics of the original mono pressing of this record. I believe this record meets every one of the qualifications to be the first us mono pressing.
Recorded August 12, 1965.
The 1st original Mono pressing has:

- Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax, both sides,
- P for Plastylite plant, wrongly called "ear", stamped in the dead wax, both sides,
- Non-laminated cover.
- First catalog number on cover and second on labels
