Anton Bruhin "Vom Goldabfischer" LP issued by Boing Records (35-001) in Switzerland, 1970. Gatefold cover. ****** Rec:m (never played) Cov:m ******* Top rare and beautiful first LP by Anton Bruhin. All Bruhin record LPs are very hard to find today, but his first is really impossible! The only copy i found in over 20 years was quite in bad coditions and i sold it some years ago for over 300 U.S. dollars. Please note that the copy i am offering here is in top MINT conditions (both record and cover)! In "Vom Goldabfischer" he manipulates a large number of sound sources including Jews harp, CH-Phon (pvc tube with saxophone reed), Harmonica, Flute, Fiddle, various Percussions, Water, Vocal. Stefan Wittwer plays Electric Guitar, Guitar and Percussions, while Christian Koradi plays Bass and Cello. Recorded on February 1970. Side A: 01 "Lola" (2.18); 02. "hüp hüp" (2.30); 03. Rather by chance, he stated to occupy himself in the late sixties with the Jews harp and creative music (he has been experimenting with sound when he was still a teenager, recording free noise tapes with his younger brother and sisters in the countryside). His interest for Jews harp caused him to travel all around the world tracing out other players of the same instrument. Nowadays, he is in contact with the Jews harp Centre in Yakutsk (in northeastern Siberia) and he is on friendly terms with Jews harp players in Japan, Hungary and Austria. Anton Bruhin plays during concerts on his self-made electric Jews harp and employs different resonators like recently developed tubes filled with water.
