Description

R&S Records bring an important piece of the Aphex Twin puzzle back to vinyl with this reissue of his 1992 Xylem Tube EP. Shockingly out of print for over 20 years, Xylem Tube eschewing the raved-up dancefloor lunacy of Digeridoo for wonkier, more alien-like shapes and rougher production. The gnarled ‘Tamphex (Headphuq-Mix)’ sounds like a steam engine on the fritz as it pushes further and further into the red, while the closing ‘Dodeccaheedron’ mutates like a virus as it stops, starts, and kicks itself over again and again. Incredible material.

This reissue 12" EP is brand new and sealed.
