FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS I'LL BE LISTING LPs FROM A SMALL BUT HIGH QUALITY COLLECTION OF LATE 1960s AND VERY EARLY 1970s LPs I RECENTLY PURCHASED.
This is an ORIGINAL 1972 WHITE LABEL PROMO STEREO PRESSING (NOT A RECENT REISSUE) OF THE 1972 U.S. VERTIGO RECORDS 2 LP SET titled '666' from Vangelis's progressive rock aggregation Aphrodite's Child. It is Vertigo Records U.S. catalog number VEL 2-500, gatefold cover, white label promo copy with inscriptions to that effect on the site labels; reverse side labels have the Vertigo Records swirl. Records come packaged inside the cover in their original Mercury Records family stock inner sleeves.

Condition of both record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of gatefold cover is VG with a 3" split in the right hand side of the top edge of the back gatefold (I have carefully and neatly repaired this split by taping from the inside), some wear along the edges and on the corners, some wrinkles, and some ring and contact wear. Cover has no water damage, tears, writing, or stickers. This WHITE LABEL PROMO double LP would be a choice addition to your 1970s progressive rock record collection!
