Description
Up for auction is a very rare Various Artists live album "Apollo Saturday Night" originally released on ATCO Records (33-159) in 1964.
-Guaranteed original first pressing -Rare original MONO recording -Laminated paste-down cover -Original ATCO paper inner sleeve -Heavy inflexible vinyl -Correct blue/tan ATCO labels
Condition: The cover is in very nice condition with only minor signs of age. Front yellow lamination is bright and attractive with only minor signs of rubbing, still shiny, no ring wear. Back is nice and bone white, no ring wear, no writing. Seams are strong, intact, no splits, just some minor crazing. Overall, a very attractive, well-preserved cover. Grade the cover Excellent Plus (EX+).
The vinyl is in beautiful condition, still retains its original high gloss shine and luster. No apparent scratches or scuffs. Labels are clean, no marks around the spindle holes, indicating little, if any, previous play. I've owned this record for over 35 years, play tested it once, then archived it un-played. Sound quality is excellent. Grade the vinyl Near Mint (NM).
