Another of the triumphant audio captures by Keith Johnson at Reference Recordings.

That he is by far one of the most outstanding recordists on the planet shouldn't surprise anyone, as his work with Spectral Electronics is renowned, his ear for natural sound beyond measure; to boot, he even invented HDCD technology.

This great recording captures Keith Clark's read of the Copland work; every nuance, in fact, this being the original Copland version for thirteen instruments. The added treat is the Emily Dickinson, not often performed, but wonderfully delivered by none other than Marni Nixon, whose voice is simply divine. (Try GOING TO HEAVEN on for size.)

Simply a beautiful record, here factory sealed.

WARNING: In the listening, be sure to find the right volume. Played too small will sound dull, which it's not.
