Description
APPALOOSA
Appaloosa
(Columbia CS 9819) 1969
This lovely LP was recorded in those far-off days when unknown bands could wander into major label offices with their instruments, play an impromptu set to the secretaries and get signed up on the spot by a passing A&R scout. In this case, the scout was Al Kooper, who ended up producing this wistful set of songs by the great John Parker Compton and friends. I love this record - there are times when nothing but it and a glass of red wine will do. This is an original US copy - as far as I know, it never appeared anywhere else.
SLEEVE CONDITION The single card sleeve has minor general wear, and is in VG+ condition, with a cut corner. The lyric insert has minor wear but is all there.
VINYL CONDITION The 360 Sound disc is in lovely EX shape - glossy, shiny and little played.
