Description

Very cool and very scarce six-track 7-inch debut by psych-pop phenom/recent Stephen Colbert fave Apples in Stereo—before the “in Stereo” addition—the first release on the great Elephant 6 Recording Co. (E6 001, 1993). An amazing example of the American indie 7-inch in the early ’90s, with a stapled, comic-book-like sleeve, an insert, a sticker, a poster, and some fancy engraving in the dead wax on Side 2. Fab songs, too: “”Tidal Wave,” “Motorway,” “Turncoat Indian,” “Haley,” “Not the Same,” and “Stop Along the Way.” A beautiful copy, with both the vinyl and the packaging—including all of the goodies—in excellent condition.
