Description
Aqua – I Want Somethin’ Else / I Don’t Understand 7” vinyl release on bands own label pressed by SRT from 1983 (SRTS 83 CUS 1679).
You are bidding for an original copy of this collectable single by Aqua.
Another obscure band with very little information available. Presumably from East Anglia due to the Peterborough Stix Studios reference on the label, the band left behind only one known single containing a great example of Powerpop / Indie which is now highly sought after by collectors of the genre.
A copy of this attracted a lot of interest when it was sold a few weeks ago (you may even be fortunate enough to still find the audio files jayneyf kindly included with that listing), so I thought I would offer the spare copy from my own collection for another lucky bidder.
Visually the vinyl is in nice condition with just a few light marks visible under a good light and a very very slight edge warp visible when the record is on the turntable. Audibly there is a little background noise during the run in / out and an occasional click or pop, but nothing which spoils the enjoyment of this great single - so overall this is a very collectable copy which I would grade as Vg+.
The labels are nice with just a few minor rubs and very little evidence of any spindle marking so I grade them as Ex.
Never released in a picture sleeve to my knowledge, this copy comes in a clean white sleeve.
Overall then a really nice copy of this rare and collectable single graded as Vg+/ (Vinyl/Sleeve).
Grading:
All vinyl is played in full using a top quality turntable and headphones to ensure an accurate grading is made and suitable comments relating to the pressing are included in the listing.
