Description

A.R. PENCK / TTT : Be Cool In Munich - Live Concert Part 1 LP (no label [GERMANY] AOO 14) 1985(?).

Record and cover are Near Mint (our highest grade for an opened record).

Great original copy of the first volume of the confusing multi-part Be Cool In Munich LP series by German neo-expressionist artist A.R. Penck and his group Triple Trip Touch (aka TTT). It appears at least four volumes were released, all with the same cover (with various graphics and letters indicating who played on which volume). On the Rick Lopez Penck discography (http://www.bb10k.com/PENCK.html), volume 1 is listed as "Penck 17 ", volumes 3 and 4 are both listed as "Penck 14", and there is no number indicated for volume 2. This copy is clearly labeled volume 1 on the labels (with appropriate letter codes for who plays on volume 1, according to the cover), but the labels have the number "16" and the trail-off matrix is "AOO 14".

In any case, if this is indeed volume 1, the players are:

Frank Lowe (sax)
Butch Morris (cornet)
Billy Bang (violin)
Heinz Wollny (bass)
Frank Wollny (guitar)
A.R. Penck (piano, drums)
Denis Charles (drums)
