the ARANBEE POP SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
under the direction of Kieth Richard
                            "Todays Pop Symphony"
--   a new conception of todays hits in classical style   --
(UK IMMEDIATE IMLP 003, mono, 1966)

grade: EX

notes on condition: lavender-colored, textured label. disc has a couple faint scuffs, very minor. "flipback" sleeve, laminated and very glossy. a few minor creases along spine. spine and seams are solid and the title is intact, easily read.

I wonder if kieth mentions this in his new book (though that would imply he actually did more on the project than pose in a cloud of smoke for the pic on the back!) in fact I really don't know much about its pedigree, but always appreciated it more for its association with the punkrock andrew oldham and his immediate records label (not to mention its extreme rarity). very cool, tough to score artefact of a brilliant, short-lived label that will be missed.

//1// there's a place/ rag doll/ I got you babe/ we can work it out/ play with fire//2// mother's little helper/ in the midnight hour/ take it or leave it/ sittin' on a fence/ I don't want to go on typing all this

I try to present the items I sell in an accurate and honest way. Please contact me with any questions you have.

Records are conservatively graded taking into account both how the record looks and sounds. I try to describe the condition of each item as completely as I can; please also refer to the pictures. A NM record or sleeve shows little or no signs of ever having been handled. A disc or sleeve with only the slightest signs of wear and handling, or one that is in NM condition with one or two minor flaws, will be graded EX. My next grade is NEX for items that don't qualify for a strict "EX" but don't show wear consistent with most people's definition of VG+. A NEX record will still have a nice gloss and can be expected to play back extremely well. A VG+ record will show more signs of wear & handling but this can be light scuffing with little effect on playback. A VG record has more wear to both the grooves and the label; it will still deliver an enjoyable listening experience.
