ARGENT ARGENT
Issue : UK 1st PRESS WITH PROMO STAMP ON REAR
Label : CBS Catalogue No : S 63781 Matrix : S 63781 A1/B1
This is the UK 1st press on the plain orange CBS label. It is complete with the earliest CBS S 63781 A1/B1 matrix, the original CBS company inner sleeve and the original matt gatefold EJ Day sleeve. The sleeve has a promo copy, not for sale stamp on the rear of the sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Both sides have the most sensational mirrored gloss, there are a couple of very light marks but every track still gleams. The original plain orange CBS labels are exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation, the original warm complete sound. In the quieter moments there is slight noise but it is still superb.
The matt gatefold sleeve is in Very Good condition. The whole sleeve is very solid. The colours are bright, the black is bold and the text is sharp. There is some light edge and ring wear. The inside is extremely bright and clean and the inside opening edge is very solid.
