Now that Sam has sold his Phil & The Frantics and Superfine Dandelion 45 it's time for Ben Dover, Inc. to get back to work here with some cool original Arizona Garage records...so I can lay claim again to being the #1 seller of Arizona labels!!! Here's one that hasn't been seen on eBay for over a year and a half so let's see what happens. Up for sale is a beautiful copy of the pre Superfine group the MILE ENDS, with their only 45 “Bottle Up And Go” b/w “Candy Man” on the 5th Estate label, no #. Produced by Jim Musil, Jr. at Audio Recorders in Phoenix. Some great Phoenix Arizona Garage-Punk…Most of you know the KILLER A side from Greg Shaw’s ‘Ear Piercing Punk’ collection years back-if not-great Stones-ish garage-punk-snotty Sky Saxon-like lead vocal-2-guitar driven-cool and savage “Empty Heart”-ish lead guitar break – B side is total ‘12x5’ era Stones sounding Garage-Punk…structure is really Jimmy Reed’s “Big Boss Man”-has harmonica punctuations, stinging guitar riffs and a primal lead guitar break-really like Stones’ ‘Now’/’12x5’ punk…again Sky Saxon-ish aloof and mean lead vocal sound....note that blue words are not mine, but very descriptive. Vinyl condition is VG++, with just a couple of superficial scuffs. Labels are M-. A beautiful copy! See scan. This is a 45 rpm record.
