FIREBALL / LA REALTA' E' GRIGIA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by ORCHESTRA TROVAIOLI e LAVAGNINO with I MARC 4 and EDDA DELL'ORSO. Original Italian pressing on the MRC label (MILANO RECORD COMPANY 401), from 1968. Superb psychedelic soundtrack themes from the very obscure drugs exploitation film, Acid Delirio Dei Sensi. Spooky jazz exotica on LA REALTA' E' GRIGIA featuring the bewitching scat harmony of Edda Dell'Orso / mellow bass flute by Gino Marinacci / muted trumpet solo / sublime Carlo Pes guitar vamps / hammond and tinkering vibes motif. The FIREBALL side is a funky shake / Library beat bossa with hammond solos / mod jazz rhythms and slightly bizarre folk song lyrics sung in English. Wickerman tinged mood music most probably recorded by I Marc 4 as the imaginary band(s) playing in the actual film were just young actors. A film directed by Giuseppe Maria Scotese starring Bud Thompson / Bruna Caruso / Annabella Andreoli / Federica Sachs and Valentino Macchi. Sexy artwork sleeve to die for too. No full soundtrack or Library Lp exists, only this rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny, M- overall with a few hairlines. Some light surface noises / soft pops but all copies seem to have this. Item most probably unplayed prior to the recording of our soundclip. The nude psychedelic picture sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with minimal wear. One corner ding (front, top left) and tiny slice / internal fold to front bottom corner at spine side. Some dirt marks and ring creasing from storage. Rare OST 45!!!
