Description
Bonjour, je voudrais d'abord m'excuser pour cette annonce en anglais. L'histoire et l'emotion est presqu'aussi fort en anglais.
This portrait is a part of 4 portrait quartet. It's theme is an ultimate salute to great european
singers with a french tongue. Arno Hintjens, the European Cowboy of
Ostend, knight of French Arts & Lettres is still well known for his
authentic and very vivid music and lyrics. He always expressed his great
love and affection for Jane Birkin, former wife of the great filmscore
composer John Barry and later famous because of her marriage with Serge
Gainsbourg. Jane & Arno performed several duets together. Serge
Gainsbourg and his then very young wife Jane entered stardom with the
all time erotic standard "je t'aime moi non plus". Gainsbourg had
written and recorded this song for and with sixties sexidol Brigitte
Bardot. Her former husband Roger Vadim didn't want her to mourn
Gainsbourgs erotic fantasy and so the song got recorded with Jane Birkin.
The portraits are reproductions on Canvas and limited and numbered and
signed by the artist.
There are only 7 reproductions per portrait available. On the reproduction the artist Stefan covers parts again with paint.
This unique piece of pop-art idols comes with a certificate signed by Stefan.
