Description
This is a fine original U.K. pressing copy of the third and final LP by British/German R.I.O. group the Art Bears, released in 1981. The group was a collaboration between former Henry Cow members Fred Frith and Chris Cutler, and ex-Slapp Happy vocalist Dagmar Krause, and their sound is (unsurprisingly) reminiscent of those two bands. The two groups had collaborated six years earlier on the LP, Desperate Straights. The jacket has a cutout hole, and several minor flaws: light discoloration along the top seam, light creasing and wear in the bottom corners and along the spine and seams, light sticker residue on the front cover, and a few light dings -- overall EX(-). The disc is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-). The record comes with a 4" x 6" black and white booklet that has the song lyrics, titles and credits, and a couple of prints (M-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
