ART BLAKEY BLAKEY IN PARIS 1961 VG LP Vinyl Record Mono Audio File XEM 53912
Offering a VG copy of Art Blakey's "Blakey In Paris" mono recording featuring Bud Powell an Lee Morgan. This 1961 release on the Epic label is an enduring & fantastic collection of great Mid Century, Hard Bop era jazz artists.
Vinyl: VG; Audio: VG; Cover: VG-; Sleeves: Original G+; New: VG++
• Vinyl is VG condition. Very clean and glossy. Beautiful center labels. Deep Groove; sonically cleaned. Most lines and scuffs could not be felt with a clean fingertip. The two scratches we did feel are on Side-2 ~ 1.25" from edge and a longer one (see photo) starting ~2.25" from edged both played through with light pops yet no skips. • Audio is VG. Sampled several placed throughout both sides. This grade is for very light pops and subtle surface noise, but IOHO, we feel is still a wonderful listening experience. See Vinyl grade for more info. Audio clip available upon request if you have any concerns.
• Cover is VG- condition. Flat and clean, yet shows wear. Clear tape top and bottom of opening, but no other splits observed. Edges are flaking. Would make for a very nice display. See photos for details.
• Sleeve is G+ condition. A wonderful, original "advertising" sleeve. This top loader G+ grade is that it's completely open on one side, ~5" split on other side, !2" split on center bottom. Clean yet has age appropriate discoloration. Would make for a very nice display with cover. See photos for details.
• New Sleeve is VG++. A very clean, new, fully intact Anti Static-Archival Quality-Non Scratching stores the album has a wrinkle on bottom corner. See photos for details.
