Art Blakey Holiday For Skins Blue Note Records LP BLP 4004
Split-free sleeve has glossy front and matte back. Light rubbing at corners and light bend in bottom right corner. Red ink writing on back cover. Penciled prices on back just to the left of title. Paper inner sleeve included. New polybag included for added protection. RVG and "ear" stamp in dead wax. The vinyl is slightly rough VG MINUS with numerous light surface scuffs and light scratch marks. Plays through without skipping and sounds much better than you'd expect from the visual grade. There's some soft surface noise in the chant at the opening of Side One and in the end section of that track where the chant repeats - though it is less noticeable at this point. There's also some soft surface noise on the quiet and sparse intro of Side Two. Nothing alarming really. A nice listening copy.
