Blue Note - BLP 4003 - microgroove
Record Condition: VG (visual is VG, but the playgrade is VG+ or better - sounds absolutely wonderful)
Cover Condition: VG (clear tape on portions of the lower & upper seams - the spine is fine, intact & fully legible - moderate corner wear - light ring wear on back - name stamped on back - name written in light ink along with number '369' written on back - mild staining/discoloration - certainly a fair share of imperfections, but not thrashed in any way)
* Top rare original Mono pressing of this jazz gem from 1959 - 47 West 63rd address on center label, RVG and 'ear' in dead wax and a deep groove - NO Registry mark (R) - This original version is untitled but was later titled 'Moanin" - featuring Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons, Jymie Merritt & Blakey on drums - Tracks are 'Moanin', 'Are You Real', 'Along Can Betty', 'The Drum Thunder (miniature) Suite', 'Blues March', & 'Come Rain or Come Shine' - rare and collectible and an impressive front to back listen - housed in a fresh inner polylined sleeve *
