This is the 1966 “RVG STEREO” stamped pressing of ART BLAKEY & The JAZZ MESSENGERS’s “The Big Beat” on Blue Note Blue Note – BST 84029.

The original Rudy Van Gelder sound, cut from the original tapes, in the same era of the original recording. No tape loss from 60-year-old tapes. Hear the full spatial studio ambience of Englewood Cliffs. The REAL RVG. 

VINYL has excellent gloss. VG+. Music signal is clean and powerful, no distortion. Liberty labels are clean with nearly zero minimal spindle marks. See photos.

JACKET is VG+/NM. Beautiful. Seams and spine are clean. Back jacket is clean. Corners may be worn. Please see photos.
