Description
Up for auction is an original press lp from ART BLAKEY AND THE JAZZ MESSENGERS titled A Night In Tunisia.
Album was released on BLUE NOTE as BST 84049. This is the original deep groove Stereo pressing with the RVG and ear stamped in the deadwax.
Lp vinyl is in excellent nice and solid VG condition with only light visual surface marks (Others with not as hard grading standards would probably call this a VG+)! Album plays through great with occasional surface noise heard (nothing overbearing).
Album cover is also in overall well preserved condition with NO seamsplits!! Spine and binding is excellent. The only issue of note is the laminate has some minor rippling, mostly on the right hand side of front cover.
Track Listing Includes:
A Night In Tunisia/ Sincerely Diana/ So Tired/ Yama/ Kozo's Waltz
Classic Line-Up Features: LEE MORGAN, trumpet; WAYNE SHORTER, tenor sax; BOBBY TIMMONS, piano; JYMIE MERRITT, bass; ART BLAKEY, drums
This lp is still a fine example of this rare jazz recording!!
