Description
ART BLAKEY - ROOTS AND HERBS - BLUE NOTE BST-84347 UNITED ARTISTS LP EX PROMO.
?
Rare (not catalogued in Discogs) White/Blue Division of United Artists stereo reissue (from '71-'73). These are sought-after pressings with excellent sound quality. This one is no exception, it sounds fantastic. Plus it's a Promo copy! (see stamp in upper right corner). This album was recorded in 1961 but not issued until 1970. This is likely the second pressing of this excellent session from one of the greatest Jazz Messengers lineups of all-time feat. Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, Bobby Timmons, Jamie Merritt & Art Blakey of course. Fire!
?
Cover: VG, solid seams, some ring wear, usual shelf wear, no writing or marks
?
Record: EX, vinyl looks great and plays beautifully!
?
Grading: I follow Goldmine grading scale visually, but I also play-test every record I list. All records are from my personal collection and have been taking care of meticulously. They will come in a protective poly sleeve.
?
Shipping: Shipping cost will be based on the weight of your package. For Media Mail, shipping is $4.00 in the continental U.S per record. In addition, I will happily combine records from multiple auctions to reduce total shipping cost. Record will be packed carefully in record mailer. At this moment, I don't offer international shipping, only domestic sales.
