Referred to as Moanin' on later issues, this early pressing has no such title!
Deep groove labels.
Stiff, heavyweight vinyl is in VG condition with lots of surface scratches.
Like most Blue Note records of its vintage, despite the scratches, the LP plays very well, with occasional pops/clicks, most audible during quiet passages.
Laminated cover is in VG+ condition with general wear and some ringwear.
The edges are intact except for a small split in the lower right corner. It also appears that some damage along the bottom seam has been carefully touched up.
47 West 63rd St. address on labels, with no INC. and no ® for trademark under the E on the Side 1 label, but there is a ® on Side 2.
The cover is front laminated with no INC. on the back.
The matrix numbers are hand etched in the dead wax, RVG is stamped.
GOOD CONDITION OVERALL FOR AN ALBUM WHICH IS ALMOST 60 YEARS OLD!
